This book ‘On NFTs’, TASCHEN's "Guide to the Digital Art Revolution" encompasses the entire NFT ecosystem, from algorithmic art to avatars, and stands as the first major art historical survey in this field. It includes 10 academic essays and is enriched with richly illustrated profiles of 101 key artists, connecting the disruptive contemporary medium to its art historical context, qubibi is also featured as one of the artists. This volume not only offers a comprehensive dive into the world of non-fungible tokens but is also available for purchase with cryptocurrency.
Along with three of artworks, the book features commentary on qubibi and a critical essay by Mimi Nguyen. An artwork has been selected as the background for the table of contents page.
Special mention to the "Hard Code Edition" (Nos. 1–600), where each copy is numbered and comes in a stainless steel slipcase designed by ZAK Group, adding a touch of exclusivity.
The launch took place in Paris on February 22nd, and a debut party is also scheduled to take place in New York soon.
The book is also available in a Collector's Edition and in four limited Art Editions, each limited to 100 copies, featuring an NFT and an accompanying signed print, all encased in a stainless steel slipcase.
